So I was looking for an armrest for my massage table and found a shelf like model which I tried first and in my humble opinion this design is much better compared to the more conventional shelf design, because it is more securely attached to the face cradle and has a stop so it acts as a sling or arm hammock. The shelf model tilts sideways when the patient does not lean with both hands, and the Velcro on the shelf has been loosened twice in patients, which is the therapist's responsibility, as the patient may injure the hand or aggravate existing irritation. So then I tried this strap design and it meets all my needs and my patients love it, it fits securely, the material is soft and stretchy, it's easy to clean, not to mention it's getting lighter, smaller and smaller. has a smaller profile than its counterpart, so it's also easier to transport and store
