Works very little. I had to take 13 when 12 is normally worn.
My husband is an avid runner and walks a lot for work. On average, he takes 25,000 steps a day. I bought them, Kayano 27 and GT-2000 10. He loves it. He is most attracted to this couple. You've got the cushioning he needs and the arch support he needs. On the days he wears this pair, he never complains of a bad knee or back pain. Although I'm a size smaller, I tried them on and absolutely understood why he loves them. They hugged my heel and bent slightly as I walked. The shoes are light for running shoes and I felt they improved my strides. Now I'm going to buy another pair so he has a reserve if he destroys these.
