Well, if you buy Revain clothes, you know WHAT it hurts to buy Revain clothes. The thing looks great in the photos - great cut, good drape, nice fabric. You keep your fingers crossed and order in the hope that this time you might actually get the item shown. Then something similar comes along, collected in the dark from used napkins by particularly inept preschoolers, and sigh, you go to the post office to return them. Look at this skirt, you can relax. This is the rare Revain garment that looks EXACTLY like the one pictured! The first thing I want to talk about is the fabric because it's so good. This is exactly the fabric that is suitable for this skirt; Not fancy, but strong, durable and good for shearing. It's a very heavy weight, similar to a heavier sweatshirt (no fluffy lining). He has a good figure which means the skirt is really flared as in the photos rather than hanging limply or dangling. And it just feels premium - no tugging, no sticking to rough fingertips, and washes and dries with regular linens without fading or pilling. Second, it's a cut that's back up. It has great skateboard fullness and flare with a touch of ruffles, yet it's not too full to be a wardrobe staple, making it the perfect piece to wear with a variety of outfits. The length is also perfect, reaching mid-thigh - short enough to look cute and long enough to cover the buttocks. For office attire, this is a great length to wear over tights or leggings. For me (5ft 9in, waist 30in) the plus size fits perfectly with the waistband coming up to my true waist and the bottom hem coming down to fingertip length.
