Excellent Descaling Filter
I run these filters directly in front of a water heater. They help reduce limescale build up in my water heater. I still flush my water heater every year, but in the 5+ years that I've had a tankless unit it has worked flawlessly. Since my water is very hard, I have to change the descaling filters about every 6 months. A water softener and filter for the whole house is on my to-do list. Then I will probably be able to change these filters annually.
