We renamed our friend Surfer Bob. My grandson liked it and so did he. He and the adults liked to play with him. You need to understand that this toy is not always right on the waves, but in 95% of cases it is. Sometimes the waves are just unpredictable. Because it's light, it can be difficult to throw long distances. PARENTS ATTENTION----YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF YOUR CHILDREN WHEN PLAYING WITH THIS TOY! I can't stress this enough. I can easily imagine a kid chasing Surfer Dude and either getting hit by a wave or being swept away by the wave. This is a very fun toy, but play with caution!
