Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 3 275/40 R20 106 year old by Wiktor Marciniak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Tires were bought in '16 for the beginning of the season, were produced in the last weeks of '15. Everywhere they write about rapid wear, but I did not notice a lot of consumption during the season. I don’t twist bagels, I don’t start with slipping, because it doesn’t work out because of the holder :) Frankly I don’t understand those who need tires to run for 5 years, 3 seasons is optimal - after all, senile problems still appear even for the most wear-resistant tires and disappear confidence that they will not fail. Before that, Michelin Primacy HPs stood - it seemed that they were more gentle in our road conditions than these. I am ating my review at the end of the 2022 season: Depreciation in the end is not so big, it is, but a couple more years can pass quietly. There are no hernias, no cuts, although anything has happened during this time. Balanced without issue. Due to the fact that the rubber is soft, it does not harden much at low near-zero temperatures in the off-season - this is convenient. After these years, the grip is not as steep as on the new one (now it is much easier to start with a slip even in warm weather, although the car is the same), but it cannot be said that it is gone. I'm thinking about whether it's worth changing for next year or moving on, I'm inclined to leave it :)

Pros
  • Derzhak I have a reinforced sidewall (XL version) 205/55 R16 - it holds the pits adequately, there were no problems during the season, although we don’t have very good roads (Hong Kong Territory)
Cons
  • Not the quietest tires, but there are no particular complaints about noise. Just don't wait for what they "whisper" :) It provokes active driving :)
