Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Orion Double Jet Flame Cigar Torch Lighter in Gun Metal Rectangular Finish - Scorch Torch by Sri Mims

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best lighters Scorch

Updated 9/1/2013 3 months ago: The lighter does NOT have the 'fun fill' issues that I have read about in other reviews. I just refilled an empty lighter in 5 seconds by simply pouring Zippo premium butane into the fill nozzle; remove, then use the lighter IMMEDIATELY without problems; NO hassle with draining "old" fuel; NO waiting for seals to function or gas pressure to "balance"; DO NOT attempt to fill the tank multiple times. Just fill up and use quality butane lighters that have been around for 40 years. The sight glass now shows that the tank is full. I like the function of the tank sight glass. 6/1/21 Review: Scorch Torch Orion Double Jet Flame Cigar Torch Lighter (Gun Metal Slim) works fine after two weeks. I have used two other scorch lighters (two identical single flame models lasted two years before the spark mechanism stopped sparking and this model is no longer available; after six months the three flame model continues to work well, especially in high winds, but use butane limited high). But this dual flame model appears to use less butane, is easy to refuel, has a solid build, slim profile, easily adjustable flame height, and one of its best features is the fuel gauge window. An interesting feature of the refill is that after the first butane refill, I don't have to dump the remaining gas from the tank before refilling. I can just go ahead and refill and it keeps burning every time. The "keep burning each time" feature is different from the single flame models I've used where I may need to light 2-4 times before the flame ignites. This model still burns EVERY time. It doesn't have a cigar cutter, but I only use it for cigarettes anyway. I don't use the flame hold button but it works. I really like the look of the scorch gunmetal finish and the reliability of these lighters. This lighter has no cover over the nozzle holes, so there is one less mechanical part to break or fail. Good instructions for use and filling (especially the first time). I use Zippo butane because it's readily available and I've never had any problems with fuel in a scorch lighter.
