This is a well weighted tire that is easy to put on and off but not so easy that you have to worry about it chipping. I'm not sure yet if it will go through a car wash without shifting gears, but it seems heavy enough and safe enough where it shouldn't be a problem. Either way, it adds welcome protection to the spare tire and makes my car easier to identify in a large parking lot.
