Easy to clean. Stainless steal is a no Brainer, you pop in the dish washer and your done. Also as far as the pump ou can't hear this thing at all, when they said quite,i didnt know but its more noiseless. The only only draw back is I wish the pump was a bit stronger. The water comes out fine but I thought it was going to shoot out a bit further then it does. Now, it comes out fine and works perfect. I have a small dog it she has no problem with the arc of flow or the length of the stream of water. For a small dog or cat it's great. My wife said she perfered it this way cause there is no spash of water. The other great thing is I fill it with ice and water and the stainless keeps the water very cold all day. I almost got a plastic one andi am so glad i didnt. No fear of dirty mold growing in the container. One more positive thing is it's sealed pretty well. So, nothing will crawl or fly into the water compartment. I put a 8.5 inch paper plate to get a idea of the actual size. Which is another good thing. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. You have to have electricity a few feet away and I it wouldn't work for a big dog. Small dog or cat it's a great thing.
