Perfect for my surgical incision

I had hamstring surgery to reattach my hamstrings to my pelvic bone; This means my incision runs just below my buttocks to mid/lower thigh at the back. I would say the cut is about 4 inches. After I took my original bandage off post surgery it was a MUCH worse pain than a thigh tear from the bone (I literally screamed and cried when the bandage came off although I never cried but only for the first 15 seconds of the screamed tear tendon), we had to replace this bandage with our own. I tried gauze pads with some kind of medical tape that actually stuck to my skin when I put ice on my leg and hurt my leg and bruised it more than we ripped it off every night as it didn't last more than a day or a day. So I went to Amazon and found tons of waterproof/resilient bandages but none of them covered a long incision until I found this one. A real bandage is very long, with 3/4 to 1 inch of adhesive at each end. The gauze/bandage was enough to cover my incision and more. It stuck SO WELL even after not changing it for 2 days, showering and nonstop icing my foot. It didn't even hurt when it was removed - it was less painful than removing stitches or a regular bandage. Due to the fact that I had a cut the bandage had to go over my buttocks and thigh which usually moved a bit and caused the bandage to blister around the edges - it's so flexible it never blistered or even detached from my skin via buttock crease. The first had to be applied by myself as my "homemade bandage" came off while my friend was driving and had to be covered. With the help of a mirror and some light I was able to attach it to my leg with relative ease as I couldn't see the back of my thigh and turning in the mirror on crutches is quite difficult. I would buy these if you need a waterproof headband for anything.
