This 1/4" end mill was effective for precision milling a pocket in 6061 Aluminum after using the drill to drill the first few holes. The only issue was the finishing. Last ones Passes to clean bottom of pocket. A VERY shallow plunge cut was required to clear the recesses from the pilot holes of the drill. This is where the drill did not fail and broke. / 4" end mill as it is quite long for its diameter. I contacted the seller through Revain and reported the issue. They immediately offered to refund or replace the racket. I opted for a replacement and they immediately sent it back. to then complete the project TLDR - bit quality 4 stars. Customer service 5 stars. Don't be afraid to buy this beat.
