I have an oblique calf and achilles stretch box. The plywood itself was too slippery, although it was roughened and wetted from time to time before use. I ordered this roll because of the width and finish which is close to 100 grit sandpaper, I didn't need the whole roll but the price is attractive compared to individual strips. It sticks very well, there is no tendency to detach. However, I prepared the surface very well. Since there are still a lot of linear feet left, I can apply this to some of the outside steps. It's the right grit, sticks well, and is priced right. It hasn't had much wear and tear from my bare feet so I can't attest to how it will fare in heavy traffic or on the street. But the price is right here too.
