This is because the leather hooks are very strong and ride better in cars with leather seats.). I've been using it for a month and I LOVE this product. I am ordering another pair for a total of four hooks. I have a family of 7 (yes, 7 in total when I drive). My little sisters love that they can hang their bags or jackets and sit comfortably in the car. As some people have said, this product isn't for every machine, but I like that my hooks have a little wiggle room. The reason is that I have leather seats. I bought plastic hooks for my mother's Lexus many years ago. The plastic hooks I had previously fitted snugly into the back of the seat (which looked fine) but sometimes left marks or scratches on the leather. Sometimes when you're in a hurry or not careful, your bag can scratch the back of your seat. It's just personal preference (due to bad experience). I'd rather not have that little gap scratch the back of my leather seats. Hope this review helped!
