Most of my experience with this type of air conditioner/dehumidifier has been in an industrial setting with a square unit designed to quickly cool computer rooms. This is designed for residential applications and is suitable for single-family homes. Suitable for cooling one floor of a house or an entire apartment. I wasn't sure how well it would perform compared to the industrial setups I've used, and its performance was a very pleasant surprise. Everything you need for this unit is included in the box - window glass, hose, remote/sensor, batteries for remote, window sill padding and of course the unit itself. It literally took less than 10 minutes to install and actually took longer than 10 minutes to unbox the setup. With no tools required, we had this unit up and running in no time. We plugged it in and turned it on and it turned on immediately, the vent at the top opened automatically and it started moving air. We set the temp to 68F and waited. On the first floor of a two-story colonial house, he began to cool off in close proximity to the fan, and within 30 minutes the temperature dropped 30 feet away. The most interesting thing is that the fan worked quietly. We could hear it but a small special fan on the floor made more noise. Combined with a ceiling fan, this device cooled the room even faster. Because of the top vent that pushes cold air up, it can be directed to a ceiling fan that circulates cooler air. Interesting remote control/sensor. It allows you to manipulate the device and set the mode, temperature, working status and define the conditions. It works via touch and works the same as the control panel on the front of the device itself. I personally prefer to work with the buttons on the control panel than the remote control, but that's preferable to anything else. The presence of wheels makes it easy to move this device after the hose is disconnected again. Good air conditioner so far. Cools and dehumidifies effectively, quickly and silently. The remote control makes the operation of the device more convenient and serves as a sensor. Overall, I can recommend the device without reservation based on my experience with this device. It is more attractive than a window panel, more efficient and much quieter.
