I bought 2 of these. Too bad they don't work. Yes they turn on, yes you can change the fan speed. It's an air sensor, it's a joke. Wherever I put these things, the light stayed green, indicating the air quality was neither good nor bad. (Plus, it never turned blue.) ) Even blowing cigarette smoke into it didn't change the color to red, indicating dirty air. I've never heard of neutral cigarette smoke. Apparently these things are quite confusing since cigarette smoke is dirty. Yes, I removed the plastic wrap from the filter. Yes, I've tried both automatic and non-automatic. Yes I had it in an open area. They tell you these things have sensors to control the air so they can drive up the price. They then set it up to automatically turn green to make the user think they are doing an amazing job because of their amazing sensors. The bottom line is that this is a fan that works in the opposite direction, blowing air through the filters. There are no sensors to detect dirty air, nothing to monitor air quality. The sensors on it may not work, but mine do. I felt very quickly that I had been lied to! Luckily Revain accepted the return and refunded my money. What a wonderful company. I love Revvan!
