I bought tires for a BMW X5, engine 4.8, that is, you understand the dope in bulk. Different wide front 275/40r20, rear 315/35r20. I chose based on reviews. The rubber is good, not expensive. After the winter, the spikes are almost all in place, about 10% flew out, although I tore on the pavement and on the snow, you know what kind of nonsense under the hood, i. E. super quality. The rut is felt, but bearable. Not long ago I had to brake sharply on the ice, at a speed of 60 km per hour, and the car went on and on. Of course, I sin on the weight of the car, no matter how 2500 kg. weighs, not every rubber will stop (I think so). My opinion for sedans will be the most. For crossovers and jeeps I do not recommend. Good luck on winter roads.
