I was impressed to say the least. I use it with an old laptop power supply (19V - 65W). The thing sounded better than expected. Of course it's not audiophile quality, but I'd use it for any consumer build. Lots of power in such a small package. I downgraded a star for two reasons: there is some hiss at higher levels, but you don't really notice it when the audio is actually playing. And another problem, I believe that the heatsink is too small. While this amp is efficient, it can generate some heat with prolonged play. I use a couple of these when remodeling a slot machine so I added my own heatsink as shown. It still gets warm, but not hot at all during prolonged gaming.
