These rescue blankets appear to be as durable as anything I've ever seen and come in their own small protective packaging of 10 - ideal for stowing in a glove box or backpack. They are longer than usual which is why I bought them. I mainly use them as lining for the insulating curtains I make. I've found them to go a long way as an inner layer in both hot and cold weather. I use a very long stitch and am careful with them and they don't seem to tear. If it was only 5 I would still think it's a good deal.
