I was concerned that the connection to use Android Auto might not support enough bandwidth, but I haven't had any issues so far. I had to use extension cords for both the USB and AUX ports as they plug into the back of my center console and don't reach the radio from there. The USB connection is also fine with extensions and the AUX input is crisp and quiet. Really easy to install and looks pretty good. If you don't want to use a lid like I did, I recommend cutting the lid off and using the ring that goes around the socket (from the extra part of the lid) as some sort of bushing to keep the rig looking nice and staying clean. What I noticed is that the plastic inside the USB port is not very well made and is a bit rough. This makes plugging in the USB cable feels crisp. After enough insertions of the USB cable it will be erased and everything will be fine so this is not a problem but an indicator of poor workmanship of the USB connector itself. I would buy it again and probably will.
