Review on πŸ§€ Jaccard Microedge Match Stick Grater: Stylish Silver/Black Grater for Effortless and Precise Shredding by Melissa Thompson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not the best choice. the best in the kitchen and dining room

I bought this grater specifically for grating carrots in salads. Although the blades are SHARP, the design flaw is that the surface of the grater is curved. The only reason I see this is because the blade is "sprung" between two side supports. The problem is that what you rub moves along this curved surface in unpredictable ways. If you're rubbing something hard, like a carrot, you'll need to use some force to push (or pull, I've tried both). Between the strength and the tendency for carrots to shoot one way or the other, I have NEVER used this grater without skinning my fingers or thumb. I'm not totally clumsy, it's just a design. Choose a flat grater (like any other grater I've ever used) and avoid this one.
