I bought this set to make while waiting for my baby. We are building a safari style nursery. I really enjoyed this project even though it took about 3 months or so. The only change I made was to put his first name, middle name, and date of birth in the middle field instead of his first name, birth weight, and date of birth. If it was a girl I would replace the blue border and the blue in the middle frame with shades of purple and that would be enough to make it more feminine. The beauty of this project is that the pieces are large in the same color, so you don't have to do four stitches and switch colors like other patterns I've made. This is a good project for those who have made one or two other cross stitch designs but want something relatively simple. All stitches are regular cross stitches or reverse stitches. My only complaint is that the graphics for the backstitches were hard to read. Other than that, I appreciated the pre-organized thread, the different colors in the chart, and the relative simplicity of the design.
