I don't know how to check this. They worked and helped us through the moving process, but we almost died using them. We carried the washing machine up the stairs to the basement and it slid down the strap to my friend and then began to unhook from my straps. We were a stone's throw from the top when it happened but it scared us to death! If that puck fell, he would pass out! He would fall down the stairs, hit the concrete floor, and then the washing machine would crash into him! It worked better on lighter things like a dresser and mattress, but be very careful about buying it and using it on things that can kill you. Oh it also rubbed our knees and left some pretty deep red burns on our knees. we are evil donkeys. Lol middle aged people moving furniture and very happy they are still alive!
