Fits perfectly in the large Big Green Egg.It is very well casted and finished; i wish the cast iron dutch ovens and skillets i paid more for were as nicely finished.Creates that 1”-ish gap all the way around the coal bed to circulate the hot air without the intense direct fire.I had a 14-hour-brisket-smoke drip plenty of excess past the drip pan and it cleaned up in a jiffy.I have never had an easier time dialing in and keeping a slow-low temp for such an extended cook.It is hefty, by all accounts more-so than the stone/ceramic version, but this one you can be far more rough and tumble with and not risk chipping, a broken leg, or full fracture
