Image of my old AMD FX-8350 with Gamdia's AIO 240 cooler and matching fans case for reference. The Cooler Master Halo 120 aren't that bright, that might be the deciding factor for you. My new build is an all white Lian Li 011Dynamic XL case which reflects a lot of light so the dimmer works fine for me. The only complaint about case fans these days has to do with their location, intake (drawing air in) or exhaust (pushing air out). Mind you, this is purely aesthetic, but it's important to the show (if you will). My bottom fans pull in air and mirror the top fans pushing air out. The fan blades point in the same direction. The lower fans thus expose the usual rear of the fan struts and wire traces. It's aesthetically pleasing, so I had to peel the logo stickers off the front of the fan blades and replace them with the rear stickers. I also use white tape to cover the wire traces. I think it turned out really nice. Well someone else mentioned the fans as being noisy, well I also bought Revain's NOYITO 10-Channel PC FAN PWM HUB to control all my fans. My ASUS bios has a fan curve program that can control and minimize the noise from these fans.
