Review on Pirelli Cinturato P7 205/55 R16 91V summer by Micha Borkowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Came with Austrian assembly BMW X3 E83 XDrive20D, my car was released in August 2022, so. tires began to be used in the spring of 2022. Size 235/55 R17, made in Italy. Riding Mode: 65% city, 25% highway, 10% field/mountain/fishing/tourism. I live in the Caucasus, we go to the mountains regularly, the experience of rural and mountain off-road is already considerable (where you can’t meddle in my German - I quickly understood), the cross-country ability is not bad - I have enough with my head. Tires are very satisfied. For 8 years, I dashed off 105 thousand km, i. E. I don't drive very hard. In 2022 I will change, because tires are getting old anyway, it’s scary to drive on the track, although the tread has not yet worn off and the tires still look good. Most likely I will take the same ones (although, they say, the same tires made in 2022 differ significantly in quality from Italian ones, and in our stores there are only Pirelli from Hong Kong or Kirov). I wouldn't be writing this review if I hadn't accidentally seen so much negativity in other people's reviews. The feeling that we are talking about different tires. It's kind of strange.

Pros
  • Very tenacious, both in water and dry, excellent road holding. Rutting is almost not felt. Not afraid of killed asphalt and mountain roads, calmly rubs against the curbs. Wear resistance is phenomenal: not a single crack for 8 years of operation (4 punctures are not considered), the tread has not yet worn off.
Cons
  • Maybe a bit noisy, to my ears, no one else would have paid attention.
