Review on 💦 Piaa Si-Tech 28-inch (700mm) Silicone Wiper Blade by Terry Wilson

If for some reason the wipers are banging against the windscreen, this is the solution. As expensive as they are, these wipers are great and worth the money. What makes them even better is that they seem to last forever. We have 4 cars in our family fleet, 3 of which always had the "hang on return" problem (swipe normally, talk back). Often these vibrations leave streaks of dirt on the windshield, like using a car sprayer while driving. This problem is now history. As much as I like them, I'm dropping the rating a notch because of the universal mount. Some vehicles such as B. Mercedes, have a relatively clean and smooth assembly method; NOT with these. You can get them to work in all applications, but sometimes when you originally had a slim, low-profile nozzle, you now have to deal with a bewildering set of plastic parts to attach the blade to the wiper arm. It works and I mainly use them for the quality of their work, but the overall look is less attractive due to the large plastic bump at the attachment point. I will try to fit a replacement part into an old OEM wiper at some point, but this solution works out of the box and I don't know if the replacement blades will fit the original wiper frames.
