Review on 🔊 Noise Monitoring Measuring Instrument by Konnon by James Holker

Bought to help me with a research I was doing for a client. By placing this unit next to two other "regular" decibel meters, you saw that this unit was about 5-6dB louder than the other two, at exactly the same sound setting (outdoors with nightclub noise of about 70-96dB). The idea was that I could see this device from a distance, which would save me a few steps. It did not work. Likewise. What I didn't like was that it didn't have a 1/4" threaded tripod mount (there are only holes for attaching to screws in the wall) and the "hole" where the sound enters is at the bottom In the absence of a tripod mount, I would mount the meter on the bases of lamp posts and then tilt it backwards to get the sound to the bottom of the unit with a serious effort where the number of decibels mattered.
