Review on Armband IPhone NOT PLUS Resistant by Rachel Cook

Best armband for larger phones

I haven't really tried this armband but have used 2 others so I feel like I can compare them effectively. This is the best bandage I have found. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 3 (Google phone from about 2 years ago). My daughters have an LG Google Nexus 4 (bought a year ago). Both phones fit. My phone has a thin Cruzer Lite TPU case and my phone fits easily with no protruding parts or a lot of stretch, although it's still firm enough not to fall out. My daughters have thicker phone cases and although they fit because they are stretchy I think the seams stretch over time so I would recommend getting a size up (this headband now comes in a larger size). I measured the part of the case that holds the phone and it measures approximately 3 inches wide, 5.75 inches high and 0.5 inches thick. My phone is 2.75 inches wide by 5.5 inches tall and fully closed. Let's get to the functionality. The bandage is very soft, elastic and light. It's not bulky. Velcro is very strong. There are 3 headphone holes on the bottom no matter where they are (this does not include any cut off corners for you to photograph). The plastic on the front is quite thin and responsive. Sweat will eventually seep through your back, but that goes for almost any bandage. If you have a phone case, this shouldn't be a problem. one that had plastic on the front and back of the phone, but that made it almost impossible to put the phone in because it was stuck on both sides. It will be the tightest, but I like that it's very tight and stretchy. This way there is room for much larger hands, but if you have very large hands, lengthen them. Smaller hands would also fit it (it's one of the smallest I've seen) although it's still too big for my 12 year old daughters. As I said, I haven't used it for running, but my running partner has an iPhone version of this and has been using it for 2 years and hasn't had any issues with chafing, bouncing or anything. It feels a lot more secure on my hand than any other I've used. Fabric - soft neoprene, pleasant to the touch.
