It only has 2 amp charging for 6v batts!
I bought this for a few things, one of them being charging and de-sulfating my 6v L16 batteries. Besides taking the place of my old (now non-working charger), the main reason I bought this is to desulfate some older batteries and over-charge them for that purpose, to boil the sulfation off the plates. Not only is the amperage dismal on this for anything but charging a battery (8 amps is the highest the 12v will go), there's no way to go straight to what is called "Battery Reconditioning", which I guess means desulfate mode. Even if it is a desulfate mode, 2-8 amps isn't going to have any great effect on it. Especially in big L16's. If I just needed a charger to charge car batteries, this might be ok.But not for serious desulfation of larger batteries.
