The JK MIC-J 071S head microphone works well for me when connected to a PC or Zoom H1 portable recorder. This model's connector has a locking ring for use with Sennheiser bodypack transmitters (and others). But the retaining ring on this model is retractable and doesn't interfere when plugged into a standard 3.5mm jack on a PC or Zoom H1. (The locking ring on Sennheiser connectors will not retract to fit securely into a standard 3.5mm jack. To solve this problem, you can purchase a "6" ME3 adapter" from SpeechRecSolutions, but you don't need an adapter for the J071S.) Note that when the J071S is connected to the Zoom H1 audio will only appear on one track and the Zoom H1 will always record in stereo, this is easy to fix later with Audacity or can be ignored. The JK Electronics seller has good email support (takes about a day), he helped me a bit and answered a few questions I asked on this site, I ended up having to bend the ear wires a bit to get it don't pinch them but it's easy to do and they fit well now.
