Works great on the new Lenovo ThinkPad T470 (work laptop)

Works great on the new Lenovo ThinkPad T470 (work laptop) in a docking station. In connection with the Dell Latitude E6430 with the Dell E-Port docking station, it could not be fully made to work. After playing around with it for hours, I'm pretty sure it's due to the age of the Dell hardware and early USB 3.0 (5 years). I was able to use some limited features - keyboard and mouse, an external webcam, and file transfer. However, the displays don't work at all (and yes, they work when connected directly to Dell or E-Port) and Dell doesn't even boot when connected to StarTech. The prospect shattered all intentions for me. This replaced the old Belkins KVM with the same Dell and older Lenovo that didn't work with the new one. I think if you have two systems (laptops, docks or desktops) with the new USB 3.0 then this is probably a great product. Features, functions and performance are all very good. I think it's a good buy (and it was a great price for this model), but if one of your systems has USB 3.0 that's more than a few years old, you might not be getting what you want.
