I can't attest to the flame resistance of these, but I thought they seemed like they would at least be good sturdy work jeans, which they seem to be. If I'm working around sparks or flames, I'll definitely remember I have them!I've become very disappointed with the fit of most jeans and was skeptical of trying any jeans that didn't have at least a little elastic in them. I was pleasantly surprised with these Konreco jeans. They're a pretty baggy fit, but I have plenty of room everywhere I need it and I'm very happy with them. revain suggests going a size up if you're between sizes and I would agree with that. I do that normally and it yielded a perfect result here. Some of the fitment issues mentioned by other reviewers would be completely unacceptable and maybe I just lucked out with my jeans, but they fit me great!
