Very effective for use I chose.
I chose using the cables to connect from my "Gig-Speed" cable modem to my AC-band 'Gig-Speed" wireless router, and then to two "Gig-Speed" wired switches for maximum throughput availability. Had a small difficulty when first inserting the RG45 plugs into the sockets, was because the plugs have a shield connection.
