Worth the small investment

As a jerky newbie I was looking for the best tool to maximize processing time and labor in making jerky hamburgers (beef) and in the near future venison. dried burger. I made a few batches of beef jerky with a hamburger in a very manual way and it works great but is time consuming. I don't understand after buying this) I bought a Lem. After a few minutes of practice, I fell in love with her. Simple and easy. I had to adjust my own way of loading the tube, rolling a piece of ground beef didn't seem to work for me. Rather than spoon loading and bagging the pipe, the charm works. If you've ever used a caulking gun, you can use this thing. The cleaning is not bad. I've used a toothbrush in hard-to-reach places in the pusher assembly and didn't need anything special to clean the grooves. Of course you want to make sure you clean anything meat related really well and I don't see a problem with being able to clean the inside of the unit. I'll come back after 4 or 5 games and update if I find anything I think needs commenting. For the money, however, the build quality and the simplicity of the device seem worth it, and it was certainly worth the cost in terms of my time.
