Rechargeable, very bright, bad, easy to install anywhere. You can set it to automatic for the motion sensor function or just turn it on and off manually, whichever suits you best. I put it in our small closet that didn't have a light and it works great. Very easy to install, just peel and stick. I set it up so that the sensor "sees" the door open, so it lights up when the door is opened. I was wondering how it would work if it needed to charge its batteries though, it got stuck in my closet but then I figured I could just use a portable phone charger and a long cable when it finally needed charging , and I won't even undress. The brightness is sufficient to illuminate the entire closet.
