We bought and installed them a month or two ago. I loved the ease of installation, aesthetics and durability of this floor protection product for my barn doors. We will use this again! We bought a hardware kit and made our own wooden doors, but as far as the floor tread goes, the small piece that came with our fancy hardware tread was flimsy, difficult to install and required the use of a router to trim the channel to complete . . . at the bottom middle of our door. Too much hassle so we bought this instead. Not only was it a lot easier to use. But we also love how it looks and feels like it's durable and stylish. Worth a separate purchase. I wish they were standard with the gear sets but we were very impressed. We bought a few because we've built a few barn doors and will buy them again in the future when we need them.
