I bought these closed toe shoes for hiking in warm weather and they are much more comfortable than trail runners, for example because they are cooler.
Also they have good padding and keep trail rocks from hurting my feet. However, after less than 50 miles (estimated), the soles are cracking and I'm worried they will totally separate so they are destined for the trash.
