Loud thing in humidifiers

It is not very pleasant when an annoying hissing sound is heard during operation. I've had about 8 diffusers in my life and would never recommend this tiny piece to other smaller models. There was no English translation of the instructions. I could buy a standard size water tank with a slim design to better suit my needs and not make a snake noise for 4 hours or less. Not cute enough to be obnoxious!
