Water appears to squirt out of this anti-siphon device rather than the included safety valve. The spray is created where the hoses meet the female and male connectors of this device. I'm not sure if this is intentional, a design flaw, or "user error". I'll try a few more times and update if needed. A bit disappointed at this point. Otherwise, Valterra does good things.
