At a fraction of the price of a standard cable this NMEA 2000 cable fits perfectly in my Simrad MFD trunk and gives you complete information on the condition of my Yamaha F50 engine. A little worried about the integrity of the engine, I had my local dealer run the cable through the rubber plug on the front of the engine, along the wiring harness and up to the helm station. I realize I had to take some photos to illustrate this, but there are plenty of videos on YouTube on the subject. Maintaining the health of your expensive outboard is great peace of mind!
