New Scott TP plates feel harder.
New quality tp has a rougher feel and a more translucent finish compared to the same product earlier this year. See image. This is surprising since the pattern markings on the roll are the same. It is not clear whether this is due to the acceleration of production or other measures to meet shortage needs, or the diversion of the commercial class to residential construction. Glad to have some TP but need to think about further use in the future. Unfortunately, there are many more rolls before we have to backorder. Thought others might want to know.
