The quality of this product for the price I paid for it is questionable. Anything $25 or more isn't worth it, since I bought it for $16 it might be worth it. Value is the ratio of cost or price to product quality (V=Q/C). A good size product with an outside diameter of 4 inches. and an inside diameter of 3.25 inches. The lid fits well and has a pleasant shape. The floor is not entirely level, as it sways very slightly on a flat marble surface. The big problem is processing. The stain is a bit uneven, very thin in places, but what's even worse is the varnish layer. It looks like it was sprayed very quickly in one pass. Very thin in most areas and absent in others, which is a big problem. Without a good finish, the soap dish will not seal properly, allowing water to seep into the wood and cause it to rot. And in the environment it is intended to be used in, a humid environment like a bathroom/shower, this is totally unacceptable. Since I bought it for $16 with free shipping I kept it and applied 2 coats of polyurethane to fully seal the wood. If you buy this I recommend you do the same, otherwise it won't last long and, worse, allows bacteria to enter and multiply.
