Review on Distressed Oak Homestyles Kitchen Island by Dana Mahendra

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful, spacious and at a good price!

Received my packages yesterday 4/18/16. A day earlier than expected and I was very satisfied! I read every review before making a purchase decision. I weighed the pros and cons and then came to the conclusion that this island probably best suited our needs. I'm only 5ft 2ft but this island suits me perfectly! This happens just below my chest area so I don't have to bend down or reach down to do any prep work or anything else I want to do. My husband had no problem putting this together, I just needed a little help holding things for him. The closets are deeper than I thought. We could fit 2 multi cookers of different sizes in it, as well as a rice cooker and a couple of pots. So it had everything we wanted and more! The boxes are the perfect size for what I wanted to store in them. I was able to fit the cutlery holder in and there was still room in it. The other drawer that I just put my towels in was awesome too! I am adding photos so you all can see how beautiful this island is. The reason for the lack of a star, as you will see in the photos, is a defect in the form of a small cluster of holes in the upper part. They are on the sheet and there are about 7 clusters of these tiny holes on the main top. I don't know if this is a defect or the manufacturing process, I don't see it as a big problem in the future, but I can't give perfect stars if something isn't perfect. Otherwise, my husband and I are very satisfied! So I highly recommend this island!
