OK - to be honest. I bought this to piss off another family member who keeps teasing me for spending money on Nic Nacs I don't need. But for less than $11, it seemed like a good way to engage in a little psychological warfare to combat nick-nack grunts. I wasn't even sure if it would work. I definitely got the rolling-eye treatment when it arrived, but to my surprise (and the surprise of the resident nic-nac nag) it works great. As advertised, it only works in the dark (which saves battery), and the motion detector that activates it is very sensitive. In general, no problems and glitches. Upon arrival and unpacking, it immediately burst into flames; No, thanks to the terrible instructions that came with the device. Now a month later it still runs on three original AA batteries (not included) and I really like it. For a man, this is definitely an aid in "aiming" in the dark. Even a Nick Nugger enjoys it. Bottom line, it only lights up the toilet (not the room); gets a lot of points for "cool factor"; and i will buy more if i have some nic nac cash. This would probably be a great gift for corporate parties where you can't spend more than xx dollars on a gift.
