The plastic housing of the interchangeable pads snaps into place and prevents the diaper lid from closing. Then when I put the diaper in the pocket I had to make some effort to push it down so the diaper got stuck and the lid wouldn't close again. It's too tedious to tip one side of the refill every time a diaper is inserted to make sure the lid closes properly. I'll look around for another brand.
