I was deciding between this and the UV LED lamps but ended up going with this one. Seems more suitable for my purposes. Since I have UV-sensitive objects scattered around the room, I prefer a less intense intensity and a better distribution of the power. Floodlight versions have high intensity in the center with a drop in power at the sides. The 5 inch cord and on/off switch are also useful. The spotlight comes with a short cord, meaning you'll need to plug it into a 3-pin extension cord or position it near an outlet. It also lacked an on/off switch, making it less convenient to selectively turn it on. The final reason I chose this over headlights is the way it stands. Both are probably intended for permanent editing, but since I'm doing temporary gigs, it's not that convenient to use. Having that space on different surfaces and being able to direct the light is fantastic. The spotlight does not have this option as it is heavy and does not have a suitable stand. These light bars do it. The result is stable, and while our eyes aren't really designed to see ultraviolet light, it looks bright. The reactive elements look pretty bold and stand out incredibly. Getting 3 units instead of 2 for the same price is a better deal.
