A decade or more ago I was still buying original branded cartridges instead of generics due to inconsistent results with generics. Lately the extreme cost of branded products and higher quality generics has made me buy generics and save a lot of money. Firstly, this cartridge is perfect for my Brother printer. It looks exactly like the branded product and is identical in size, shape etc. The print quality is excellent. I printed out some black and white drawings and pages of text and took a closer look at the print quality of the stamps and generic stamps with a magnifying glass. The generic cartridge advertised here has the same print quality as the branded cartridge when looking at the same pages printed by both products on the same printer. No quality problems. I've printed over 2,700 pages of text, graphics etc and the storage cartridge still works with no print fading. I have no doubt that it will exceed the listed number of pages as I'm approaching that number (3000) now. And no, I didn't use this trick of removing the cartridge, shaking it, and reinserting it to print more pages. Not necessary. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and plan to buy again and save a lot of money.
