October 2018: Thing is HUGE. At 2560 x 1080 Ultra Wide it kills the games I play. GTA 5 and Fallout 4 are almost maxed out (sometimes you have to change the shadow quality to SSAA or vice versa depending on your preference) and I have absolutely no problem maintaining 60fps at or below 70C while playing. I'll test other games, but if your resolution is below 1440p, this card can play anything at medium or higher settings, including new titles. I ran it at 1384MHz with a custom fan curve to control the temperature (that fan isn't very loud at 50% or less anyway; I had to put my m.2 under the GPU, which makes me a bit nervous, so I would have preferred to cool the range as much as possible), but it actually runs at 0 rpm when you're not playing, which is nice. I would recommend this card for any games below 1440p or even below average 1440p settings depending on what games you prefer. So far it seems very reliable and the 8GB of RAM is good; Having high resolution textures in games is very nice and I haven't had any issues; I would recommend this instead of the 1060 6GB if you can't get it for $230 or less. Update: Increasing memory clock to 2250 in Wattman squeezes a few extra frames from Furmark and seems stable on my card so far. The overclocking actually hurt Furmark's performance a bit, probably due to throttling, so I currently have the core at 1350MHz and the memory at 2250MHz, which works slightly better than factory. Edit 8 months later: I was having problems with IMC with Ryzen 5.2600 and tried to fix this card thinking it was faulty because I was having BSOD and CTD while playing. As a result, I replaced the processor and found that it was not a GPU. However, playing Far Cry at 1080 Ultra for 45 minutes caused the GPU to freeze. No mobo will post if installed. I have contacted their support and am hoping for a response. They were fast last time but I've built and rebuilt the GPU with a new tm (to no avail) which would technically void the warranty. If they don't live up to the warranty it's my fault, but if they do I'll be delighted. Mostly a good experience, but it's a shame that a great PC has been rendered unusable by many defective parts. 2020: Laaaate update - XFX sent me a new retail card straight away many months ago and no problems since. The RMA is very good in the US.
