Review on Case Logic CDS 120 Capacity ProSleeve by Mark Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's not as great as it used to be.

I bought a whole bunch of these about ten years ago and now I'm reorganizing so I bought a few more (I didn't even read the "specs" to find out it was a box is about -60, but that's my fault). Anyway, I have some leftovers from my last try and noticed some differences. The logo is a little different, but who really cares. The case material is a bit thinner and less flexible, but what matters is that the plastic has less flex when sliding over the edge of the case (name sticker). The balaclava is a little smoother and an improvement - I often didn't have to use the black plastic feeder on new shells. Difference What really annoyed me was the blank paper labels that now come with them (if you don't keep a CD in a jewelry box and need a handwritten label). The old ones weren't anything special, but they did the job. Sufficiently thick paper with microperforation. When I switched to a new box, I found that the paper labels were flimsy, prone to wrinkling, and the perforations were so large that they often caught on the sleeve when I inserted the labels. And since the paper is cheap, once caught, it's torn and badly damaged (make another label). I don't know for sure if it is a Chinese lower tier paper, but I have seen one such paper that is similar in properties to this one. that's quite a lot. I can deal with some inferior plastic to save money. But please, Case Logic, charge me another 25 cents and switch back to good labels, not nearly useless and frustrating ones. These things take a long time to load (and it's worth it!), but let's not make it harder than necessary. charge me another 25 cents and switch back to good labels, not nearly useless and frustrating ones.
