Review on WALI SONOS Speaker Mount Bracket by John Swain

Do not trust the instructions of this company. I bought 2 types of mounts from them and I have the same problem. I first looked at the Sonos Playbar mount, where the included anchors didn't have a lip to keep the anchors from going into the wall. I had to buy myself. When using these fasteners, the instructions require you to drill an oversized hole for the anchor. Anyone who has installed anything using anchors should know that the hole must fit the anchor snugly. Otherwise, you twist the anchor and screw, and all this is pointless. I would suggest starting with a drill bit 2 sizes smaller than recommended and we work as needed to get the correct hole size. You can make the hole bigger, but you can't make it smaller. From my recent history with their products, I caution any installation. The product seems solid and reliable once properly installed, but following the instructions could do more harm than good. Honestly, if you have anchors handy that you trust to hold the weight, use your own and sleep better knowing that what they're holding won't destroy your wall.
